Artist's Description

This is a statue of Nathan Hale, 1755-1776. He was a Yale student, class of 1773.
On September 22, 1776 he was hanged for spying on British troops. He is famous for his saying just before he died, "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."

I got my first camera when I was a little girl. It was a box camera with a flip up top and a brown leather carrying case. I've had lots of cameras since then and wore most of them out! One reason I love taking photographs is because I am in love with the Creator of Heaven and Earth! I love showing off His handiwork. My friends say I have a God given gift of seeing things others miss, or seeing them from a different perspective. I enjoy showing people photos on my camera, laptop or prints--which ever one is handy! I feel so blessed to live near the mountains, ocean, and a beautiful lake. I have also been able to do a little traveling. Then when I come home with photos of far away places, I show them to people that...
